Punjab has reportedly made a valid B-Form number mandatory for students registering for Grade 5 and Grade 8 examinations.
Under the revised system, schools cannot complete a student’s registration unless the required B-Form details are entered. Records previously submitted without a B-Form number have reportedly been marked as unverified.
Schools Told to Update Student Records
Teachers, head teachers and registration officials have been directed to add missing B-Form numbers and complete all pending student profiles.
Registrations with incomplete information may not be accepted, which could affect a student’s eligibility to appear in the examination.
August 8 Registration Deadline
Schools must complete the registration process by August 8, 2026. The same deadline has been reported for Grade 5 registration and the extended Grade 8 registration period.
Parents should provide the correct B-Form details to schools as soon as possible and verify that the student’s name, date of birth and other information match official records.
